Philip Myers serves as Executive Producer and Creative Director for numerous clients, including Major League Baseball, for whom he has served as Creative Director for Civil Rights Weekend for the past 6 years, overseeing all Gala Main Stage activities for this event.
He has worked closely with MLB staff and various baseball clubs including the Cincinnati Reds, the Atlanta Braves, the Chicago White Sox, the Houston Astros and others. In this capacity, he has produced Civil Rights Honorees Morgan Freeman, Mohammed Ali, Hank Aaron, Bill Cosby, Willie Mays, Billie Jean King, Berry Gordy, Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, Maya Angelou, Jim Brown, Bo Jackson, Carlos Santana, and others. Keynote speakers include Bill Clinton, Robin Roberts, and Andrew Young, to name a few. Philip also produces numerous events for the Cincinnati Reds. He oversees the Main Stage Production for Redsfest, and serves as Creative Director for the Reds Hall of Fame Induction Gala.
Philip has produced many top musical acts including: Don Felder of the Eagles, The Steve Miller Band, Aloe Blacc, Bebe Winans, Jeffrey Osborne, Roberta Flack, Steven Curtis Chapman and others. The Myers Company teams with various production companies in producing large scale events. Wolfgang Films, Prestige A/V, Mind Ignition and Loud and Clear are just a few companies with whom he has collaborated. Philip also works closely with many destination management companies and meeting planners to plan, design and produce awards banquets, incentive trips, business meeting openings and closings, and “special moments” for business sessions.
